Ladle powders
The main function of the ladle in steel production is the transfer of molten steel from the furnace to casting machine. Growth of quality in working practices ladle has taken place in recent decades as a result of better quality steel and increased productivity: dust additions in the ladle can not only act as a simple barrier against heat loss and oxidation by air, but must be chemically compatible with the type of cast steel.
